Dear authors（scholars, professors, students）,

We are pleased to extend an invitation to you to participate in 2011 IEEE International conference on Intelligent Computation and Bio-Medical Instrumentation (ICBMI 2011), ?held in Wuhan, China, ?during December 14-17, 2011, and to submit papers on one of the topics below. ICBMI 2011, co-sponsored by IEEE Tainan Section, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and National Cheng Kung University, aims to promote the research, development and application of Intelligent Computing and Bio-Medical Instrumentation by providing a vibrant and effective forum across a variety of disciplines for engineers and scientists in academia, university and industry. Your participation with organization of special session would be highly appreciated.

Submission

ICBMI 2011 invites authors to submit original and unpublished work, written in English. Papers should not exceed 4 pages of text using 10-point size type on A4 paper.

Publication

All accepted papers in ICBMI’11 will be included in the ICBMI 2011 proceedings, which will be published by IEEE CPS, normally they will be indexed to EI (Compendex), IEEE Xplore, IEE INPSEC, Thomson ISTP, DBLP. Furthermore, extended versions of selected papers will be published in the prestigious journals including Journal of Multimedia (EI Compendex, ISSN: 11796-2048), Journal of Networks (EI Compendex, ISSN: 1796-2056), Journal of Computers (EI Compendex, ISSN: 1796-203X) and Journal of Software (EI Compendex, ISSN:1796-217X).

2011年ICBMI會議將于12月14日至17日在中國湖北武漢華中科技大學舉辦，會議由IEEE臺灣分會，華中科技大學和臺灣成功大學聯合發起。華中科技大學坐落于九省通衢、長江漢水交匯口的湖北省會城市武漢。華中科技大學是國家教育部直屬的全國重點大學，由原華中理工大學、同濟醫科大學、武漢城市建設學院于2000年5月26日合并成立，是首批列入國家“211工程”重點建設和國家“985工程”建設高校之一。學校校園占地7000余畝，園內樹木蔥蘢，碧草如茵，環境優雅，景色秀麗，綠化覆蓋率72%，被譽為“森林式大學”。

會議主題

此次會議旨在構建科研機構、大學和工程師之間的國際交流論壇，從而促進智能計算和生物醫學儀器研究、發展和應用。會議的主題包括醫學影像、醫療器械及檢測、計算機輔助治療系統、人工智能、神經網絡、模糊系統、進化計算等。請參見附件的CFP或登陸會議官方網站了解具體的會議主題：http://cbmi.hib.cn/

論文投稿及錄用：

投稿論文要求與主題相關，論文語言為英語。以word文檔為例，A4紙張，字體大小為10，論文字數不要超過4頁。

投稿截止時間是：2011年8月10日。

研討會上所有錄用的論文都將被錄在大會論文集中, 由IEEE出版并被EI、IEEE Xplore、IEE INPSEC、Thomson ISTP和DBLP等檢索。優秀論文將被如下期刊收錄Journal of Multimedia (EI Compendex, ISSN : 11796-2048)，Journal of Networks (EI Compendex, ISSN : 1796-2056)，Journal of Computers (EI Compendex, ISSN: 1796-203X) 以及Journal of Software (EI Compendex,ISSN:1796-217X)。
